An Old Settler Dead Columbus Daily Advocate 18 May 1915
J.D. Price, aged seventy five years, a deaf mute died ath the home of his brother Mr. J.C. Price of 227 South Magnolia Street last night. Mr. Price has lived in Columbus for some years and has many friends among his acquaintances. The immediate result of his death was lung trouble of which he had been suffering for the past four or five months. A brother D.A. Price came up from Baxter Springs this morning. No arrangements as yet have been made for the funeral.
No headstone marks his grave. He is believed to be buried in the same lot with his nephew William Andrew Price(son of David Andrew Price) and his mother Anna EJ Price.
