Josef Tauber

"Josef Tauber was teacher at the Jewish primary school in Leipnik for many years. The school was directly in front of the Zerkowitz factory. He had two children, Laura and Hugo Tauber, both of whom were living in Leipnik around 1915.”

He died in Leipnik between 1890 and 1900. His gravestone is still standing, but his date of death is illegible.

Following the death of her husband, Kati Tauber apparently boarded students, some from distantly related branches of the Tauber family.
