About Joseph Peter Connelly
He grew up in Naugatuck where he attended local schools. Prior to his retirement, Joseph was employed as a foundry worker at the former Century Brass in Waterbury.
Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps in World War II in the South Pacific and in the Korean War, where he was wounded in action. He was the recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Joseph found his greatest joy spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
