JOSEPH KUNZ
Funeral services for Joseph Kunz were Sept. 25 at Wickenburg Funeral Home, Bishop Tom Jones of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Wickenburg officiated. Burial in Wickenburg Cemetery followed.
Mr. Kunz died on Sept. 21 in Youngtown. He was born 103 years ago in Idaho. In addition to working as a farmer and carpenter, he was author of short stories and poems. The popularly known "London Bridge" poem has been attributed to him.
Surviving are a sister, Rose Driggs, Youngtown; four half-brothers, James, Ellis, and Burton Kunz of Victor, Ida., and Milford Kunz of Ogden, Utah; and four half-sisters, Effie Duston and May Brown of Victor, Emma Erdman of Salt Lake City, and Kate McDonald of Melford, Utah, and several nieces and nephews, including Cora D. Phillips.
