Joseph W. Lambert, Sr.

Daleville, Indiana -- Joseph W. Lambert, 39, died Friday night at his home. A native of Gaston, he spent most of his life in the Daleville area. He graduated from Daleville High School in 1953 and later served two years overseas with the U.S. Army. Survivors are his wife, Gwendolyn McIntosh Lambert; three sons, Matthew, Joseph Shane and Jeffrey Lee; a stepdaughter, Tonya Rae; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lambert, a brother, James A. Lambert, and two grandmothers, Mrs. Emil Cox, Muncie, and Mrs. Inah Lambert, Gaston, Indiana. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Meeks Mortuary in Muncie with burial following in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Rodger Wrigley, pastor of Daleville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Calling will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and before the services Monday.
