Nov 18, 1910 Leader p. 1 col. 7 "Unable to endure sorrow longer" Brooding over the death of his sister, Miss Margaret Redd, to whom he was devotedly attached and which occurred about eighteen months ago as the result of accidental shooting with his pistol, Job Russell Redd, aged 22 years, son of Col. R. M. Redd, Assistant County Assessor of Fayette county, while in a despondent mood, ended his life with his own hand at the family residence, 521 West Third street, Thursday by shooting himself in the head with the same pistol that had been the cause of his beloved sister's untimely death.
