About Josiah Perry
Moved with his father and brothers Benjamin, Nathaniel, and Eliakim from Sandwich to Stoughton. In 1740, he purchased from brothers Eliakim and Nathaniel their shares of the 386 acre lot the three brothers had purchased from their father five years before. He moved to Easton in 1747 and to Norwich, Connecticut, before 1752. Josiah had settled in Shaftsbury by 1775. See Brownson, NEHGR 115:99, 194.
