About Juan Luján
Juan was among the early settlers of New Mexico. He arrived in New México in 1600 with a Francisca Jiménez, whom he probably was married to. His known children were Juan II, Francisco and Mariana Luján who was the wife of Juan de Perramon (Ramos).
In 1600, he was twenty-seven years old and short of stature, born on the Isle of La Palma, and the son of Francisco Rodríguez.
