Julia Ann Howery was believed to have been born in Ohio.
She married Ephraim Hoover on February 28, 1833 in Shelby County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Maria Rosebloom and Samuel Howery.
Note, the name Howery is sometimes spelled Howrey. She and Ephraim had a large family: Mary Ann w/o William S. Surber, Elizabeth w/o Mathew Courtney, Catherine w/o William Howrey, Margaret Ann w/o Elias Foust, Christina B. w/o Simeon Blackford, Joseph S., Henry Irvin h/o Roxanna Blackford, Ephraim, James Franklin h/o Ollie A. Bishop, Leander, Martha Ellen w/o Mahlon E. Blackford, and John C. Hoover h/o Malvina E. Lewis.
