About Julia Ann Mills

Julia Ann (nee Tooley) Mills, dau/o Marlin Tooley & Elizabeth Roats (ASH) or Rhodes (NM) or Rote (FTM), was the second wife of William Mills, s/o Philemon Elmer Mills & Phebe/Phoebe Stewart. She was born 23 August 1820 in Ohio and died 30 July 1903 in Lapel, Madison County, Indiana at 83y (Indiana Works Progress Adm.: Death Record, Bk. H-27, p. 36). She was buried 1 August 1903 at the Perkinsville Cemetery, Madison County, Indiana.

At the time of the 1870 U.S. Federal Census she was enumerated in Jackson Township, Madison Co., IN (P.O.: Anderson) as "Juliet Mills," age 50 with son, Robert, while son, Samuel, worked as a farm hand nearby.
