About Julie Heilpern
N.B. Not 100% sure about these family relationships. There is a significant disparity in DOB details of Charlotte HEILPERN.
- In Yad Vashem German Federal Archive Memorbuch: b. 15.09.1895, Leipzig - which would suggest she might be a sister of Simon.
- in Mémorial de la Shoah: b. 01.11.1929, Anvers - which would suggest that she is a daughter of Simon & Julie.
The latter option has been posted for now.
Details and of deportation subsequent death courtesy of:
Simon, Julie & Charlotte HEILPERN were in the region of Nice, Côte d'Azur, where they were rounded up in the notorious "Rafles d'août" in August 1942. The arrested Jewish citizens were incarcerated in the Caserne Auvare for a while before being put on a goods train, in locked-up wagons, and transferred to Drancy.
