About Julius Caesar Burton
Julius Burton is usually with Allen Burton, whom I believe to be a brother. Julius md Celia Wheeler, dau of Benj Wheeler. in 1800. Wheeler came from Bedford Co Va in 1790, bought land in 94 , he and Abraham Burton bught adjoining farms on Poosey Ridge. Allen Burton md another Wheeler daughter and Thomas Sanders md Susannah Wheeler. I think Julius and Celia went to Pulaski.
Celia and Julius with 6 children were inthe 1810 census. Not in 1820. Family rumor has it he ran away with another woman. Evidently they had John and Hannah. Celia sent John to become a blacksmith. He later became a ferryman.
