Kallie Schoonraad (1971 – 2018)

Brief overview:

Kallie (47), was shot dead on his farm in Shylock, North West Province at 19h00 on 23rd June 2018. He was watching rugby on television with his wife Malindie (30), their three children, Carel (11), Karli (10) and Daniel (5), and Malindie’s father, after which his father-in-law went outside. Kallie heard one of his children shouting, and he rushed outside to be confronted by 5 armed males, who then stormed into the house.

The attackers assaulted Malindie, and ransacked the house, stealing cellphones, a television and other items and fled in Kallie's Toyota Fortuner.

No-one has ever been arrested.
