Karen (58), was stabbed to death in her home in Dunnottar, East Rand, Johannesburg on 29th March 2014. She was found with 13 stab wounds to her neck.

"It is very difficult for the family to come to grips with the loss of their beloved matriarch, also because the Dunnottar SAPS is very slow to arrest any suspect," "The Dunnottrar SAPS said fingerprints and forensic material were found at the crime scene," said daughter Chantall Last.

It appears that nothing was stolen.

Dunnottar SAPS asked the public to contact their investigating officer WO Simon Phala at 082 727 9877 or 011 737 9618 if anyone can provide more information which would lead to an arrest.
