Kiliab Lindsey

Kiliab was the son who succeeded to the old homestead; he came to it from Luzerene, New York. He had, like his father, a very large family; ten grew to manhood and womanhood. The youngest of his children , a son, Carmi Van Rensselaer Lindsey, now owns the ancient farmstead, a fine piece of land of about two hundered and ten acres, nearly all under cultivation. Mr. Lindsey has a quantity of thoroughbred cows and fifty-four colonies of bees, and is a very industrious farmer, highly respected and thought of by all in his vincity. Four of his sisters and two of his brothers reside near him; another brother lives in Wisconsin.
