Kittil Såmundson Piggås

Kjetil Såmundson Piggås and Kjetil Såmundson Heggeneset are not brothers, they are the same person. Kjetil was born at Heggeneset farm in Seljord, Telemark. He was confirmed on 26 September 1847 in Seljord Church.

In the churchbook for Seljord 1877-1886, p.376, you will find that Kittil Saamundsen Skogsmark which is the same person as above, died Sept 26 1879, and was buried Okt 8 1879. He lived at the farm Foshøl in Brunkeberg, Kviteseid before he died. It seems that he has been buried in Seljord for what reason I dont know. Cause of death: cancer. (Source:Eli Tubaas).
