4. William Cuninghame, 4th Laird of Craigends; married Margaret Cuninghame (died 1618). William died in 1568.

William's widow Margaret remarried twice. She is buried in the Old Kilmadock churchyard, near Doune, Perthshire. Children: Alexander Cuninghame, 5th Laird of Craigends (#5) William Cuninghame John Cuninghame of Rawis Gabriel Cuninghame Grisell Cuninghame; married Robert Laminton of Inch Elizabeth Cuninghame; married the goodman of Grange Janet Cuninghame Dorothy Cuninghame; married about 1589 to her step-brother James Dog of Dunrobin (born about 1573, died February 1634)
