The link between the Lee family and the Moor family is problematic in terms of provable evidence at this time. http://www.leesofvirginia.org/Lee_Descendant_List.html shows Laetitia Lee's pedigree and marriages, but doesn't indicate that she had a daughter named Mary ANN Thompson.

This indicates a high probability that mtDNA testing was used in order to determine the relationship between Mary Ann Thompson and Laetitia Lee.
