Lake Gilstrap White, 94 passed Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011. She was born in Seneca, SC Dec. 12, 1916 and the daughter of the late, William & Mary Cleveland Gilstrap. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Milton White. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, D.A.R. and Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, William “Bill” White of Seneca, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Services will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bob Dickard, officiating, burial will follow in the Mountainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 161 Hopewell Church Rd, Seneca, SC 29678.
