Lal S. Roach, Sr. SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Lal S. Roach, Sr., 83, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 1998 at Forest Park West. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Glorioso, administrator of the Cathedral of St. John Berchman. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 13 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Mr. Roach died Thursday, February 12, 1998 in Shreveport. He was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport and was the retired owner of Roach Plumbing. Mr. Roach was a member of St. John Berchman Cathedral, a veteran of the U. S. Army having served our country during the Korean Conflict and he was also a member of the V.F.W., American Legion and the Elks Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Roach and brother, Dick Roach. Survivors include three sons, Louis G. Roach and wife, Debra of Shreveport, Lal S. Roach, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Bossier City, LA and Jim B. Roach, Sr. and wife, Dena of Blanchard, LA; one daughter, Debbie Kay Klufa of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Jeanie Boutte of Shreveport and Mary Louise Dabney of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Lai Langlois, Brian Langlois, Jennifer Roach, April Roach, Lauren Roach, Lai Roach, III and Beau Roach. Pallbearers will be Lal Langlois, Brian Langlois, Beau Roach, Greg Klufa, Connie Mac Boykin and Ricky Johnson. The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
