Lala Harihar Prasad

Sri Harihar Prasad (youngest of seven siblings of Sri Ramanuj Dayal Rais and Smt Anandi Devi) was born at Meerut in 1905. Was a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws; was a landlord and engaged in active farming at Village Baichola, Meerut; set up the films distribution and exhibition business – film exhibition business at Eves Cinema, Apsara Cinema at Meerut and film distribution business at Delhi; was a honorary Juvenile Magistrate; was very actively involved with the leading educational institutions at Meerut – RG Inter and Degree College, Meerut College and NAS College.

Smt Lakshmi Devi, his wife was a housewife and came from landlord family of Dhampur, Bijanore. They got married on February 28, 1928 at Dhampur, Bijanore and had three children – Smt Meera Sangal, Dr. Anil Prasad and Sri Ajit Prasad
