The Marriage of Miss Astell To-Morrow's Ceremony at Penshurst. The marriage will be solemnised to-morrow at the church of S. John, Penshurst, of Miss Laline Astell, daughter of Lady De L'Isle and Dudley and the late Mr. W. H. Astell (Grenadier Guards) to Mr Arthur Preston Hohler, son of Mr and Mrs F. Hohler, of Lowndes Square. The officiating clergy will be the Bishop of Rochester, the rev. A. Wauton, uncle of the bride, and the rector of Penshurst. The bride, who will be given away by Lord De L'Isle and Dudley, will be attended by seven bridesmaids, Miss Cynthia Astell (sister), Miss Ivy Vereker (cousin), Miss Valentine Hohler (cousin of bridegroom), Lady Enid Vaughan, Lady Eileen Browne, Miss Winifred Worsley, and Miss Joan Hodgson. The service will be fully charal, and will include an anthem by the choir, and the church is to be decorated with white roses. Following the service there will be a reception at Penshurst Place, after which the Happy couple leave for Algeria. The Bride will wear a Princesse gown of white charmeuse, trimmed with pearls and hand embroidery, and draped with beautiful olf Burssels lace, the gift of the bride's mother, and a veil of Old Honiton lace, lent by her aunt, the Hon. Lady Craufurd. Her ornaments will include a pearl necklace, and she will cary a bouquet of white carnations and orchids. The bridesmaids will wear Lely gowns of cream satin, with pink sashes, copied from a picture at Penshurst Place, and large brown hats, trimmed with roses. They will wear pearl and gold neck ornaments, the gift of the bridegroom, and carry bouquets of yellow, pink, and cream roses. The bride's going away dress will be a biscuit coloured moire gown, with coat embroidered in silver, a travelling coat of coffee coloured cloth, a large hat in black straw, trimmed with one very large rose and lined with velvet. The presents are very numerous and beautiful, and include a lovely collection of jewellery. The bridegroom presents the bride with a diamond tiara, a diamond and sapphire ring, diamond neck ornament, and a diamond and ruby locket. Lady De L'Isle gives her daughter a diamond cluster necklace, and some old Brussels lace; Lord De L'Isle a diamond bracelet and a diamond and sapphire bracelet; Miss Cythia Astell, diamond earrings; Mr and Mrs. Hohler, diamond ring; Mrs Hohler a diamond pendant, and many others.
