Lambert Neil Beckner Sr. , 70 of Springfield, Ohio passed away January 20th, 2016 in his residence surrounded by his family.

Neil was born May 17, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Lambert and Virginia M (Stutler) Beckner. He had been employed as the Director of Maintenance for St. John’s Center for 35 years before retiring in 2011. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed working on and repairing clocks.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years Wilma (Stevenson); children Neil (Dana) Beckner, Rollin (Christy) Brossman and Mindy (Tony) Clark all of Springfield; one brother, Bill Beckner of Michigan, and five grandchildren, Jade Beckner, Haylea and Corinne Clark, Tiffany (Sean) Gill and Kyle (Briana) West, one great granddaughter Ryleigh West; and a number of nieces and nephews including Matt, Mike and Kris Beckner.

A grave side service was held at 11am on Saturday May 21, 2016 at the Orlando Cemetery, Orlando Cemetery Road, Orlando, West Virginia. The family hosted a celebration of Neil’s life at the Old Burnsville High School Pavilion, Burnsville, West Virginia following the graveside services.
