Lambert von Gleichen, D5

Lambert von Gleichen († 1272 ) was a prophet at the Neumünster Abbey from 1258 until his death.

Lambert stemmed from a Thuringian nobility family and was proclaimed in 1248 by Bishop Hermann I of Lobdeburg in Erfurt. Since April 16, 1258 , he has been a witness to the Neumünster Abbey. In 1264 , he received a papal canon at the penitent, since he had arrested two forgers of pope tales. However, he could not compete with the Canon, since it contradicted the statutes.
