LANDO [II] d’Aquino, son of ADENOLFO [IV] Conte d’Aquino & his wife --- (-[1053/65]). Conte d’Aquino. “Lando comes ex comitatu Aquini et filius...domni Adenolfi comitis” received a representative of Montecassino by charter dated Oct 1040[326]. Amatus names "two brothers Atenulf and Lando…Counts of Aquino, who were well disposed to Pandulf because they had married his two daughters", the marriages presumably both dated to before 1038[327]. Amatus records that Adenolfo was captured by knights of Guaimar IV Prince of Salerno, but was released in exchange for Richer abbot of Monte Cassino whom Adenolfo's brother Lando had captured[328].

m SICHELGAITA of Capua, daughter of PANDOLF IV Prince of Capua & his wife Maria ---. Amatus names "two brothers Atenulf and Lando…Counts of Aquino, who were well disposed to Pandulf because they had married his two daughters", the marriages presumably both dated to before 1038[329]. "Adenulfus comes et Landulfus comes et Pandulfus comes et Lando comes Aquinensis et filii Johanni Landonis comitis de Aquino" donated property to the church of Santo Marciano, for the soul of "genitricis nostra dña Sicelgarda", by charter dated 1105[330]. It is possible that she was "Sicelgarda comitissa" whose death is recorded 9 Sep in a necrology of Benevento[331].
