BLOOMINGTON - LaPriel Brewer Thornock, 86, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 1999 at her home in Bloomington. She was born Aug. 14, 1913 in St. Charles, Idaho to John W. and Bertha Arnell Brewer. She was the third of four children.
LaPriel was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a friend to all. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a Relief Society teacher and Primary teacher. She also sang in the church choir double quartet, and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She worked many years in the Rich Cafe, and then in the Paris Museum. She loved to be with people, and people loved her, especially her smile.
She is survived by her husband, Julian Thornock; a son, Jay R. and Marge Thornock, and a daughter, Donna Loye and Bill Smith, all of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. LaPriel is also survived by one brother, Harold Brewer, of Brigham City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Janiece, two granddaughters, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Bloomington Ward-St. Charles LDS Chapel in St. Charles, Idaho, where friends may call that morning from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery.
