About Larry Reilly
These are remembrances of Larry's daughter Kathy.
Dad loved Mom with all his heart. I remember how he would serve Mom breakfast in bed. The worst behavior that my brothers and sisters could do was back talk to Mom!
He was an avid sports fan and had "total" tv involvement. Dad was a great swimmer and love horsing around in the water with his kids.
He had a sense of humor that would not quit, and to this day, I find my humor is becoming more like Dad's. or should I say 'the Reilly sense of humor". Grandson, Corin, says that "Bampa was crazy, wild and wooly'.
Summers were spent camping all over the United States.
I can remember him driving the car with a pipe in his mouth (before he quit smoking that and cigars) and trying to control the kids in the back seat.
Dad loved his children and grand-children. Corin had a special bond with Bampa, living in Madison, and baby sat him frequently. He never was able to get Corin interested in sports, though.
I love you and miss you, Dad!!!
