NUNDA TRUTH, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1907 Death Sunday of Former Resident of Dalton

  After an illness with peritonitis, lasting two weeks, Mrs. Laura Covey, a former resident of Dalton, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Henry Kellog on the State road, Sunday morning, aged about 72 years.  She had resided with her sister for the past six years, since the death of her husband, H. Covey at Dalton.  Deceased was a daughter of the late Samuel C. Jones of Nunda.  The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the house, burial being in the Jones family cemetery at Nunda Junction.

                   ----------- Former Dalton Woman Disposed of Many of Them in Her Will, Besides Considerable Money.

  In this week's Livingston County Surrogate's Court the will of Laura Covey, was admitted to probate.  Louisa A. Kellogg, is appointed executrix.  The property, which, apparently, recieves the most notice in the will is a choice collection of feather beds.  To Mrs. laura S. Willey is given one feather bed and $300. to Mrs. Myrtle M. Mann, one feather bed and $100.; to Grace E. Kellogg, one feather bed and $100.; to Ethel D. Kellogg, one feather bed, one gold watch and $100.; to Harry P. Kellogg, $100.; to Ernest H. Kellogg, $150.; to Louisa A. Kellogg, all remaining personalty and realty.  Her title to the remaining personal property will be absolute, but she will have only a life estate in the realty, which is to go to her children after her death.  The decedent leaves $5,000 in realty and $1,000 in personalty.
