Sena Kastet, 88, of Pelican Rapids died Feb. 23, 1990 at Pelican Valley Nursing Home in Pelican Rapids. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. at Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Stadler officiating. Burial will be in Ringsaker cemetery. She was born Nov. 29, 1901 at Madison, MN to John and Bergitta Sarte. 

She was baptized and confirmed at the Madison Lutheran Church and attended public and later Lutheran schools in Madison. Later she moved to Rothsay where she worked at a bank. On Aug. 24, 1924 she married Oscar Kastet in Madison and they moved to Fargo, N.D., where they lived for 30 years while he taught school. Later they moved to Pelican Rapids where he taught school until they retired. She has been a resident of Pelican Valley Nursing Home for the past two years.

Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.
