Lelen Ether Ault Warnick passed away December 6, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born August 4, 1906 in Cedar Glades, Arkansas to Sydney Curtis and Margaret Evelyn Elder Ault. Married Jesse Ralph Warnick on August 30, 1924 in Malad, Idaho, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Lelen was an active member of the LDS Church and served as Relief Society President, MIA President and in many other positions. She owned and operated her own nursing home, The Abode nursing home, and served as President of the Utah Nursing Home Association. Her family lived for a while in Pocatello, Idaho. She loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, cooking, sewing, and crocheting.Survived by four sons and two daughters: Darrell M. (Luaina) Warnick; Marjean Remy; Daphne Branch; LaMar (Myrna) Warnick; Joel D. (Suzanne) Warnick; D. Guy Warnick; 35 grandchildren; 111 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Jesse; and son, Ralph Howard. All five sons all served LDS Missions.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 1996, 12 Noon in the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends and family may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery
