Won many swimming prizes under 15 and 18, including championship 1900. Won pigeon races Newcastle to Maritzburg (gold medal), 1905. Add., 405, Longmarket St., Maritzburg. Clubs: Savages F.C., Wasps R.F.C., M.C.C., Homing Pigeon Club.

Savages F.C. seems to refer to the Savages Football Club. Reputedly the oldest Football Club in South Africa est. 1882.

The Wasps most likely was a rugby club. M.C.C likely refered to a cricket club of the time.
