LESLIE WEAVER TAKEN BY DEATH
Leslie Weaver, 54, poultry dealer, died at eight-fifteen a.m. today at his home, 542 Eighth, after an 18-month illness of heart trouble. Mr Weaver had been tending his poutry in the yard of his residence a few minutes before he died.
Born Nov. 12, 1884, in Brigham City, he was the son of James and Dora Jensen Weaver. He married Alvilda Olson in the Logan L.D.S. temple, April 14, 1908. Mr. Weaver had participated in L.D.S. church affairs, having been president of the seventies quorum in the Eight ward and a committeeman of the Aaronic priesthood.He was a vanguard leader in the Ogden Gateway Area council of Boy Scouts, and was a member of the old folks' committee.
Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children; Rulon, Clifford, J. Dee and lyle Weaver and Mrs. Merit Woodland, all of Ogden; also nine grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. John South, of Ogden; five brothers, Albert and Ezra Weaver, of Perry; Seymour Weaver, Clearfield; Shirley and Porter Weaver, of Ogden; four sisters, Mrs. Emil Jeppsen, Corrine; Mrs. Frank Compton and Mrs. James Nelson of Ogden, and Mrs. Marcel Johnson of Tremonton. The body is at the Malan mortuary.
