Jacob / Koppel Emanuel / Mendele Gobets was mentioned as witness in the death records of both Levie and his (assumed) sister Vogeltje Salomons. In the death record of Levie he was identified as a brother-in-law while the other witness, Jacob's brother Philip, was identified as an aquaintance. In Vogeltje's death record Jacob was identified as an aquaintance. It would imply that if Levie's wife was Jacob's sister that Philip would also have been a brother-in-law and that if Jacob had married Levie's sister that he would also have been Vogeltje's brother-in-law. Only if Levie and Vogeltje were not siblings this would make sense.
