Lewis “Lew” A. Burcham, 80, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday July 28, 2005 at home. Graveside service will be conducted 11:30 A.M. Saturday July 20, 2005 at Miller Cemetery Miller, Ohio by Rev. Keith Creasy. He was born March 14, 1925 in Athalia, Ohio son of the late Jesse and Clara McComas Burcham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Lew served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and retired form Real Estate. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Palmaneda “Pam” Burcham; daughter and son-in-law Pam and Ron LeRose of St. Albans, WV; grandaughter Amy Womack and her husband Joey of St. Albans, WV; grandson Jesse A. Lewis and his fiancé Anna Warren of Huntington, WV; great grandchildren Carli Womack and Jesse B. Lewis; sister Betty Harlow of Huntington, WV; and brother Jesse Burcham of Bostic, N.C.. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday July 30, 2005 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial contributions to made to Hospice of Huntington. The family would like to express a sincere thanks to Dr. David Daniels, Penny Clagg, Lee Ann Beckett, Julia Morgan, and to all the other staff that assisted in his care at home.
