Lewis Calvin Hudspeth departed this life in Carroll Co., AR circa 1882 and was interred in the Lower Piney (Brushy) Cemetery near Metaltoa. In 1900 when the National Archives were burned in Washington DC destroying all of the census records of all the states for 1890 Sarah (Gage) Hudspeth was still living and she was in Osage Township with her son John F. She died during the early 1900's and she too is buried at Lower Piney - her grave and Lewis ajoin the grave of Lucretia (Wood) Gage but there are no markers.
Eleven children were born to the union of Lewis Calivin and Sarah Gage and those children are as follows:
