He married Rebecca Greene of Malden, daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (Hills) Greene, in 1674. The couple removed to Malden, where he received deed of land from his father-in-law dated the same year of their marriage. In 1681, Thomas purchased a farm in Malden of 60 acres from Joseph and Ann Hills of Newbury. This land was bounded by Mount Prospect to the north and Capt. Wait's land to the west.[1]

In 1691, Thomas is called a husbandman or weaver in a deed to Samuel Greene. He was also a Lieutenant in King Philip's War and served the town of Malden as a selectman in 1700.

Thomas died in 1728 and is buried at the Bell Rock Cemetery in Malden.[2]
