Lillian Simon born Lillian Adelman on November 9, 1916 in Altoona, PA, passed away on April 15, 2004. She married George Simon on June 20, 1937 and they lived in Mount Vernon all their married life until George passed away on January 23, 2003. She is survived by her two daughters, Anita Freeman and her husband Phil Freeman, and Linda Irving and her husband Ronald Irving. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Robert Freeman and his wife, Ronnie Freeman, Sheryl Fruithandler and her husband Neil Fruithandler, Stephen Irving and Jaime Irving. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Jason, Eric and Matthew Fruithandler. She was past president of the Rebecca Lodge, she was a member of the Congregation Brothers of Israel and the Rose Y. She was a bookkeeper for the Colish Publishing Company and the Sirco Company.
