Mrs. Lillie E. Myers, 88, formerly of R. R. 5, Rochester, died at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday in the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Mishawaka. She had been a patient since December 13, 1968 and in failing health one year.

Born January 1, 1881 in Fulton County, she was the daughter of Francis and Martilla Bowman Rogers. Her first marriage was to Aaron Bowman who preceded in death. Her second marriage was to John W. Myers who also preceded in death. A resident of Fulton County the majority of her life, she was a member of the Methodist Church at Talma and the WSCS of the church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Eldora) Calvert, R.R. 5, Rochester; three sons, Emery Bowman, South Bend; Harold Myers, Osceola, and Herbert Myers, R. R. 4, Plymouth; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Glen (Mary) Pittman, and one stepson, Kenneth Myers, both of Mishawaka; thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Rogers, Tucson, Ariz. One daughter preceded him in death.

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home. The Rev. Garrett Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in the Reichter Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
