Linda (31), was reported missing on 16th November 2013. Her naked, decomposing body was found in bushes in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth five days later. Police spokesperson, Capt. Stanley Jarvis, said she sustained wounds to her head and face. He said it appeared that Linda might have been murdered, but this could only be confirmed after a postmortem was done. DNA samples were taken to ascertain if she had been raped.

Her motorbike, helmet, wallet and clothes were found near to the body.
