Legacy: Liv Torgersen Molnar passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Palm Springs, Calif. Liv was born in Kirkenes, Norway on August 8, 1933. She moved to Harstad with her family where she lived and went to school, moving to England and then New York in 1960. She later moved to Palm Springs, working at the Bird Corporation for thirty years and making many dear friends before retiring in 1992. It was at Bird that she met her husband Hugo Molnar. They spent much of their retirement traveling in Europe and hiking in the western deserts. Liv was preceded by her beloved husband Hugo on November 20, 2010 and is survived by her brother Torger Torgersen and niece Jana Winderen, cousin Aase Gasvaer and god-son Jorn Gasvaer in Norway along with her sister-in-law Edith Molnar, her niece Edie and her husband Jim Read in Los Angeles, Calif.
