" I think I have found the answer! In the NY RC baptismal records I found that "Jacob Leunen" was a sponsor for infant "Lucas" on 5 Jan 1675 for LIVYNTIE LEUNEN and CORNELIS LUCASZEN. This tells me that her husband was NOT Cornelis

• Gerrits* van Den Bergh but instead, Cornelis *Lucaszen* Van Den Bergh. The other sponsor for little "Lucas" was Annetie Cornelis who just happens to be the wife of Lucas Dirckszen Van Den Bergh, they being the parents of Cornelis Lucaszen who was bp in the NA/NY RC on May 11, 1653. This *Lucas Dirckszen Van Den Bergh* is apparently not of the Albany Van Den Bergh family. He's thought to be of German ancestry and arrived in NA prior to 1653.

If you are interested, I also found 2 siblings for Livyntie Leunen bp in the NA/NY RC; Matthys bp. June 06, 1655 and Magdaleentje bp 3 Apr 1658.
