About Lob Meyer Fleisher
Klein Maierie was the son of Reb Alexander and his second wife,Gitel, daughter of Reb. Loeb. Whether he adopted the name of Lebrecht later in life in life is not known, but the tombstone of his son Isaac reads, Isaac, son of Maier Lebrecht.
Maierle's sons, with the exception of Loeb ( Low),chose the name of Lebrecht. Loeb selected "Fleisher", the German for butcher, which was his trade.
