Lois June Haney of Portland died Oct. 11, 2008, at age 88.
Lois June Ellis was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Concordia, Kan. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" for Boeing in Wichita, Kan., during World War II and later was a dairy farmer with her husband in Idaho and Washington. In the 1970s, they opened Haney T.V. and Appliance stores in Portland and Tigard. In 1937, she married Bryce Haney; he died in 1996.
Survivors include her sons, . . . [two]; and three grandchildren.
