Mrs. Claude Van Wagoner died Sunday night at her home in Wilson. She had been in failing health the past two years and seriously ill the past week. she was born on Jan 24, 1868 in Oakland County and came to Wilson with the late Mr. Van Wagoner in 1899. His death occurred Feb. 8, 1950. Surviving are a son, Carl Wilson; grandsons, Ralph, Alpena, and Esley, Wilson, and three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Frank Adams of Ortonville. The body is at the Wachterhauser funeral home. Tuesday at 2 it will be taken to the home where the service will be Wednesday at 1:30 and at 2 from the Wilson Free Methodist Church, the Rev. Vernon Boshart officiating. Internment in King Settlement Cemetery
