About Lona Viola Rush
Lonie Viola Rush, 89, of Sedan, died Sunday (Dec. 31, 1989) in Pleasant Valley Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Rush was born March 12, 1900, in Eufalla, Okla., to Robert and Vinita (Phillips) Evans.
On April 28, 1922, she married Leo Henry Rush. He died Sept. 14, 1975.
Mrs. Rush was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Norman of Winfield and Bobby of Augusta; a daughter, Betty Tower of Winfield; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of the Graves-Baird Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorials to the Sedan Senior Citizens.
