Funeral services for Mrs. J. V. Vineyard, 69, who died at her home three and one-half miles West of Van Alstyne, Tuesday were held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. Burial was in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Vinyard was born in Little Rock, Ark., as Miss Ella Womack. She came to Texas settling in Ellis County. She was married to Samuel David Blackerby, who died in 1906. She married J. V. Vineyard in 1916. She was a member of the Baptist Church since childhood. Survivors include her husband, eleven children and step children, Mrs. Ray Luther, Oklahoma; Mrs. John Anderson, Van Alstyne; Mrs. Monroe Allred, Farmington; Mrs. Raford Rains, Guntry; Mrs. Willis Watson, De Kalb, Texas; Mrs. Robert Green, Taft, Texas; Joe Vineyard, Winters, Texas; Douglas Vineyard, Orbin Vineyard, Lester Vineyard and Mrs. Jess Hoskins all of Van Alstyne; forty-nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren
