Louis Organek, Butter Broker, Dies at Age 60
Louis Organek, 60, of 152 Shoshone Drive, Buffalo, who, with his son, Albert, operated a wholesale butter and egg business at 364 Athens Blvd., Town of Tonawanda, died yesterday in Buffalo General Hospital.
A native of Toronto, Mr. Organek was active in the adult activities of Little League Baseball. He was a past vice president and chaplain of Mt. Carmel Lodge and was an executive officer of the lodge's credit union.
Besides his son, he is survived by his wife, the former Adele Lanchetti; a daughter, Mrs. Sidney Sokolow; another son, Marvin, three sisters and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Park Terrace Mortuary, 855 Englewood Ave. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
