About Louise Sarah Eastman

Louise Sara Lindner Eastman was the wife of entertainment lawyer Lee Eastman, and heiress to the Lindner Department Store fortune. She and husband Lee had four children, John Eastman, an entertainment attorney, Linda McCartney, deceased rock photographer, musician, animal rights activist, and wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney, and younger daughters Laura and Louise.

Daughter of prominent Cleveland Ohio department store executive, Max Lindner. Wife of show business attorney, Lee V. Eastman. Mother of Linda McCartney, wife of Beatle Paul McCartney.

Louise Eastman was killed in the crash of American Airlines Flight 1, which crashed into Jamaica Bay, Queens, on takeoff from Idlewild Airport in New York City on a flight to Los Angeles. All 95 people aboard were killed.
