XVIII) of PONS Jacques , Baron of Mirambeau, and Champniers in Périgord. He was appointed ordinary gentleman of the room of the king Henry III, by letters given to Loudun, on April 19, 1576. He married in first marriage Marie de La Porte, lady of Champniers and Chambon, daughter of Jean, lord of Champniers in Périgord , and Marie Cothet. From this union were born:

1) Madeleine , lady of Mirambeau, who married first on February 15, 1616, Gabriel de Saint-Georges, lord of Vérac, Charnier and Chambon, Baron de Couhé, son of Joachim and Louise du Fou du Vigean.  She married in second marriage, Armand d'Escodeca de Boisse, Baron de Pardaillan. 

2) Louise , who married Isaac de La Porte, lord of Châtillon and the Valley. (in Angoumois?).

3) Marie , who married first of all, Paul d'Espeigne, lord of Vennevelles and Coulaines; then in second marriage Gideon de Pressac, lord of Pressac and Lioncel.

4) Jeanne , who died without having been married.

5) Esther , who married on March 3, 1613, Raphael de Fournel, Baron de Grateloup.

6) Henriette , lady of Champniers, who married at Beaumont castle on December 6, 1611, Henri René du Lau, lord of Cellettes, son of Josias, lord of the Coast, and Esther Goumard.

She made her will on May 8, 1636, in favor of her children, 9 in number. Jacques married Jeanne Bouchard of Aubeterre, widow of Louis de La Rochefoucauld, lord of Roissac, and daughter of Jean, lord of Saint-Martin de la Coudre, and Françoise Herson.

She does not seem to have left her any descendants.
