James Scott Farrow, 91, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Lawrence officiating with burial in the Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Farrow was a native of Staunton, Va., but had made his home in Milledgeville for many years. He moved to Milledgeville in 1964 and taught music and was the band director at Georgia Military College. He was a member of the Stonewall #Brigade. As a young man Mr. Farrow delivered telegraph messages on his bicycle for Western Union. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Allen of Milledgeville; three sisters, Marcette Route and Anna Bell Cook, both of Staunton, Va., and Jean Farrow of Roanoke, Va.; five grandchildren, Tonia Costa, Kim Smith, Cherie Farrow, Ricky Farrow and Terri O'Neil; and eight great-grandchildren.
